the past few days have been a jumble of activity. time is going by too quickly. first there was the wedding, which was really nice. my sister kept it pretty low key and most of the planning and decorations were done by her or family members.
then the day after that we all went to kahala beach for a picnic
then my mom and sister drove us to the north shore. our first stop was giovanni’s shrimp stand in haleiwa. my mom and i split garlic scampi plate, but on hindsight, i could have eaten two plates on my own.
then we went to laniakea beach to look at the turtles.
and surfers
next stop was shark’s cove. the water there is incredibly clear. i think niko and i are going back with snorkeling gear.
for dinner, we went to the beach bar at the moana surf rider to meet wes’ sister and husband. we were just in time for the sunset.
and i had my first drink with an umbrella. a plantation iced tea
the best part is hanging out with my family. we all had dinner together last night, and it was so much fun. that’s what i miss the most when im gone.
