esther was here a few weeks ago with her friend kathy.
i got to eat the famous chicken salad!!! kathy made us curry, which i ate for lunch every day until it ran out. it was soooo good.
niko rented a car and drove us all to koenigsee and the surrounding country side. it was beautiful. emerald green lakes, open fields and tall trees.
i went to seattle for a last minute trip to visit family. it’s almost embarassing that these are the only shots of the trip i have that do not involve my niece. i have a ridiculous amount of photos of her.
seattle was pretty. lakes, trees, flowers and friendly people. we also drove down to portland so my sister and wes could attend their nephews’ birthday party.

I still get ridiculously excited about the landscape here. It’s just completely different from what I grew up with and I find it so quaint and Heidi-esque. I mean the cows and horses in meadows of buttercups and green grass with mountains in the background! And the hot air balloon!
